Nepali Marriage Prices in Japan
Translation Fees:
- 5,000 YEN for the first document.
- 4,000 YEN for each additional document.
For Nepali citizens residing in Japan, the following documents are typically required, along with estimated translation costs for two Nepali civilians. Please note that each village, town, city, and ward office may have specific requirements, so it’s important to research them beforehand:
- Relationship Certificate (x2, English to Japanese): 9,000 YEN
- Certification of Marital Status (x2, English to Japanese): 8,000 YEN
- Birth Registration Certificate (x2, English to Japanese): 8,000 YEN
- Passport (x2, English to Japanese): 8,000 YEN
- Japanese Marriage Application (Completion in Japanese): 4,000 YEN
- Japanese Marriage Certificate (Back to English): 4,000 YEN

If you’re planning to get married in Japan and you are a resident, you need to visit your city office directly to confirm all the requirements. This will ensure you gather the correct documents and also inform the city office about your necessary document requirements ahead of time.
While many of the requirements are similar to those listed above, there can be variations, such as additional documents or different turnaround times for issuing marriage certificates.
