Planning a Vacation Marriage in Japan: How to Get Started
If you’re planning a vacation marriage in Japan, here’s how to begin:
Choose Your Dates: Decide on the dates for your vacation to Japan and select the specific day you plan to submit your documents to the city or ward office.
Select Your Location: Choose the area where you’d like to get married. For example, if you choose Kyoto, decide on a specific part of Kyoto. Once you’ve decided, select a hotel in that area—this will provide you with temporary residence in that district, which is a requirement for getting married in Japan at that specific city office.
Contact Us: Once your dates and location are confirmed, get in touch with us. We’ll reach out to the appropriate city or ward office to clarify the specific requirements for international marriage based on your nationalities and the local regulations.
